In August 2017, CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. and the UCAS Education Foundation (affiliated with the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) signed the Donation Agreement and the Memorandum of the "CAS Hefei Gasification Education Fund" in Beijing, based on the principles of equality and voluntary participation.
In September, the company donated RMB 200,000 to the UCAS Education Foundation, which established the "CAS Hefei Gasification Education Fund". The fund will be used to support student scholarships, awards, entrepreneurship and employment programs, student club activities, and social practices at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; faculty assistance, awards, and capacity-building initiatives; campus scientific, cultural, and sports activities; and discipline development in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics.
The establishment of the "CAS Hefei Gasification Education Fund" supports the development of education and scientific research at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics and marks the company’s commitment to public welfare, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
